Case study 004 / Commerce system
NextGen Compounds
A resilient commerce system designed to keep high-risk payments moving.

The business
NextGen Compounds distributes research grade compounds to research buyers. The category is legitimate but sits outside the comfort zone of conventional payment processors, so the business needed a store that could reliably take money without being cut off. Their buyers expect a clean, credible storefront rather than a fly by night operation, and the site has to read as both compliant and permanent.
The bottleneck
Standard checkout is a single point of failure here. A processor can freeze an account overnight, and a store that depends on one is a single decision away from zero revenue. The constraint was payment resilience, not storefront design.
The system
We built the storefront on WooCommerce with crypto native settlement through NOWPayments, so orders clear without depending on traditional banking rails. The catalog, checkout, and order flow were designed around that independence rather than bolted on afterward.

The outcome
With payments live, the store did $20,000 in its first active month.
